Maryland's state capital is a city so beautiful that it can take your breath away, but 10/10 doctors agree that's not good for your heart! As professional first responders, our instructors are intimately familiar with the challenges people face when presented with an emergency. We bring our experiences to the classroom in order to provide top-notch training that will allow you to feel confident and prepared in the event the you are responsible for saving someone's life. We teach in our home studio, local facilities, or your home.

Mike

Instructor

Mike is a local police officer and has been working in EMS and public safety for over 21 years. He has over 8 years of CPR instructor experience.

Julia

Instructor

Julia is a Firefighter/Paramedic for the City of Annapolis, and Woodland Beach VFD, as well as an Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) instructor for the University of Maryland and Anne Arundel Community College. She has been in the fire department for 11 years and a CPR instructor for 7 years.

Bill

Instructor
Bill is a Firefighter/EMT who works for the Federal Government. He also volunteers his time between Woodland Beach VFD, Pikesville VFD, and Hyattsville VFD. He has been in the fire service for 18 years and has been teaching CPR for 6 years.

Ashley

Instructor
Ashley is an NREMT Paramedic with critical care and emergency response experience. She has worked in EMS for 8 years and has been a Paramedic for 6 years. Ashley has been a CPR, ACLS, and PALS instructor for 4 years. Ashley also teaches EMT and Paramedic courses throughout Maryland.

Justin

Instructor

Justin has worked as a career firefighter/paramedic since 2008. During that time, he has taught both Basic and Advanced Life support education. Justin also works as an instructor for Anne Arundel Community College. Aside from his work duties, his hobbies include backpacking, rock climbing, and scuba diving as a PADI certified diver. Justin served as a Committee Member with Boy Scout Troop 702 and was a member of BSA troop 939 as a youth where he obtained the rank of Eagle Scout. Justin teaches CPR, First Aid, and our Wilderness First Aid programs.
